Wine Season -- Elderberry Wine - Step Three

On Friday I transferred the elderberry wine into the 5 gallon carboy. It's a beautiful color.  Now we wait about 3 weeks.

On Saturday, I processed the last 3.5 pounds of elderberries into juice so that I can make jelly from it one day this week.  More on that when it happens.  I was finally able to use my mother's antique jelly strainer, it's been up above my cabinets for several years. It worked like a charm!
