I picked the last of the dwarf kale today -- so sad! If I had to pick my favorite green from the greenhouse this whole winter it was this crunchy, lovely kale. Delicious. We've eaten it almost entirely chopped up in fresh salads and I can't wait to plant more this spring.
This is the last of the corn salad (also known as mache) plants, too. Another real winner - tastes so mild and is perfect in salad. Another plant I'll try again in early spring.
Here's the take from the garden today -- all in the greenhouse. Kale, Swiss Chard, a few jalapenos, a handful of tiny tomatoes, and the corn salad. Looks like a great salad tomorrow (minus the jalapenos!)
