A few garden notes....

There are a few flowers that are still managing to stay alive around here....

 These are the moss roses in the planters by KT's little house...they seem to enjoy the heat.

 And the Datura angel trumpets are continuting to bloom.  They last one day, then droop and die, but they are so pretty when they are blooming.

And, we're still enjoying tomatoes!  This was a salad I threw together that had Aunt Ruby's Green tomatoes, Lemon Boy tomatoes, a San Marzano tomato, a few Isis Candy and Black Cherry tomatoes, along with fresh basil and feta cheese, mixed up with a small amount of balsamic vinegar.  All heirloom tomatoes....and so delicious!
