Dad in England & France in WWII

I've scanned a few more pictures of Dad's from when he was in England and France at the end of WWII.  He was the handsome one! Ha!
With the cig...glad he didn't keep up with that habit
This one said "With the gang in front of our home, Warton, England"
 "Brighton, England"

 Dad's the first one here. According to Google, this is in Le Havre, France
Interesting fact, the camps were named after cigarette companies, and the assembly areas were named after cities in the U.S. to keep the enemy who might be listening from knowing where our forces were. 
Dad has his pants legs out straight, and this other guy had his inside his boots (I think)...wonder why?
