May 1st - Blog Challenge - Introductions and Recent Photo

Sigh....I'm going to try this again, since I had so much fun with the A to Z Blog challenge last month.  I found this one on Pinterest (where else?!) and I'm going to try to get past the first week, which has been hard for me in the past.  But why do they all start with a focus on self? I hate taking pictures of myself, and usually I'm the one wielding the camera, so it's pretty easy to avoid.  Anyway,  this is me, on the right.

Introductions?  I've been married to the love of my life for 45 years - tomorrow! We have 2 great kids, who are not kids anymore.  They are both married to the loves' of their lives, so I feel like my life is perfect.  It is perfect -- I couldn't ask for more, and I have two gorgeous granddaughters, whom I'm honored to spoil rotten.

We spend our free time gardening, raising a few animals, making improvements to our little corner of the world in Texas, and doing some travel.  Mostly I just enjoy being at home and puttering.  I'm great at puttering.
