Spring Garden Notes, April 5, 2015

We had a busy Easter Sunday, but this morning before all the activities, we took a little walk through the garden. The broccoli plants are starting to form heads!! Exciting!
The Alden grape plant has many, many little grape clusters.  I think this is the year we finally get to eat some of these!

A few of John's vineyard grapes are showing little clusters, too!

The tangerine crossvine has finally popped, and it is just spectacular to look at, especially when the sun shines through it.
My butterfly rosebush is blooming -- I just love these old fashioned roses.

This week we'll be finishing up planting the vegetable beds, installing the final automatic sprinklers, and basically getting down to pulling weeds!
