Around the homestead....

John's been working on the new project, here he is pouring a cement pad with electrical outlet.  He's been busy running electricity to some of the outbuildings -- the new pump house, the barn, the new chicken house, my potting shed and the greenhouse.  Its not easy with all of the rock we have under our soil!

He did rent a machine that helped quite a bit.

I finished painting all of the trim on the pump house last week.  Love that we have one now and don't have to sit on the pavilion and look at that ugly water tank and pump.  I planted some lantana in front of it - its a pretty sun hardy plant, so hopefully it will do well there.
