...so the family got together on Sunday to visit with her and celebrate her birthday. She really seemed to enjoy having everyone there and all the talking that was going on in the background. I'm sure it reminded her of the many times the family was all together in her home. She smiled and even laughed a little bit while we were there. When we arrived she was alert and awake, although Mom doesn't open her eyes much any more. Sometimes we can coax her into opening them, but she will barely show her eye and then shut them again.
I'm so glad she got to see her family this weekend all together for a short time.

Afterwards, we all went to lunch together!
