Uncle Edmund Vahalik

I ran across this article about my Uncle Ed Vahalik while going through my mother's photographs. He saw quite a lot of action in WWII in France and Germany.  I don't remember ever really talking with Uncle Ed much.  He was a quiet man, at least while we were around.  I'm sure he suffered from the trauma he received during the war.

  1. Wow - that is TONS of action. No wonder he was a quiet guy. Amazing. What did he do after the war?

    1. As far as I remember, he moved back and farmed the land next to our grandparents place. I know his head injuries were a problem throughout his life. Wish I knew more.
