All of the garden beds are planted, and three potato buckets have been planted. Today I planted the Fingerling potatoes and 20 cotton plants! Yes, cotton. I've always wanted some to decorate with in the fall, and if all goes well, this fall I'll have some! They are furry!
We also planted 6 grape plants against the fence. They are Alden grapes, and they have already started budding.
Now that the garden is done, I'm planning to plant a pumpkin/watermelon patch and John is going to help me create a bean hoop-house for KT! We'll put climbing beans, Malabar spinach, scarlet runner beans, and small warty gourds all around the base of it. Pictures when that goes in!
