Summer Day Camp --- Day Eight

July 3rd

Today was a kind-of unstructured camp day...we were supposed to have guests to swim today, but our whole schedule got thrown out of whack when Grumpy had to attend an unexpected event, so...we improvised!

We did some time painting (which KT will do at any time -- she's a budding artist!) I helped with some structure on this painting of a dinosaur, and she filled in the color!

 We walked around the property, garden and chicken house some.....Mimi did some baking for the 4th of July...

 and swam a lot!  Here's KT pretending to be asleep == don't believe it! It turned out to be a fun day after-all.  Tomorrow is the 4th of July!
