We celebrated at L'Auberge du Lac casino by dining at the Jack Daniels Grill.  I had the best Shrimp and Grits, and John had the catfish.  Very good!

We were going to gamble here, but John couldn't find a table game with less then a $15 minimum, so we opted to drive over to the Isle of Capri again, since they weren't so pricey.  We had a great time and spent Friday driving home.

We stopped at the Ikea store in Houston on the way back.  I just have to say, the one in Austin is much much better.  This store in Houston was confusing.  We had to wander around to find some help in getting to the area we wanted, only to find out that there should have been a greeter at the front door (there was none) to give us directions.  We went back up there and found her chatting with another employee at the returns desk with her back to the door and ignoring all of the guests coming in. (Probably not interesting in winning the employee of the year award.) LOL

What a great little get-a-way.  We need to do this more often!
