Amish Friendship Bread

I found this old recipe on line this week and it brought back such great memories of my time with the staff at Alkek Elementary School...the teachers and staff all passed around this starter several time while I was there, and we all took one home and kept it alive for some time.  I remember thinking how upset (anxiety!) I would be if I killed it! ha!  Who knew it would be so easy to make a new starter?
Anyway, Day One....starts now!  I'll be baking bread in only 10 days!
