We attended the Dirty Girl Mud Run this Saturday morning to support the team from TESS, Inc! Wow, I was totally unprepared for how many people would be there, it was held at the San Antonio Shooting Complex right down the road from Jeff and Colleen's house. Crowded and amazing! The TESS team had a 10:45 am wave time, but it had been going on for a while before we got there, and we heard that they had waves going as late at 2pm, so it was an all day event for some of these volunteers. All proceeds were for breast cancer charities.
Colleen ran with several of the girls from the TESS office and some of their other wives of the guys that work there. They had their own shirts printed, and shirts for the rest of us who were only providing moral support. The girls had to do the 5K run that included several obstacles and lots of mud and water. They came back in totally covered in mud!
Bonus day, I got to see my niece Andi!! She was running with some of her friends. I was so glad to see her.
