I've just wasted about 3 hours on Pinterest. If you don't know what that is, I'll be glad to share my addiction with you. Just ask, I'll send you an invitation.
But be warned....
You....
will....
be....
hooked....
Sad, really, how easily I can waste three hours now.

A visit from Ms. Ella Bell
We had a little visitor again yesterday....and this one has been growing! Little Ms. Ella "Bell" Ryan Wren graced us with her presence, along with her Grandma and Jeeps. We had a fine evening watching her enjoy Carlie (the dog) and the guinea hens, walk with the assistance of one or the other of us, and generally having us all do her bidding. She is still the most happy baby I've seen...even with double ear infections. Ha! We had a very relaxing evening...good friends and good food. Note to self: pumpkin dump cake needs real eggs to set properly next time. It was delicious, but not quite firm enough.

And so I arrive at 61....
It's not too bad, really. It's been a fabulous year and I have so many loving people in my life. Now....on to 62!
Movie Review --- Three Muskateers
They went with comedy, didn't take themselves too seriously, suspended their imagination and made a really fun, lighthearted movie. We enjoyed it!
First, some of my favorite actors were represented! Athos was Mr. DARCY!!! And Porthos was Titus Pullo from the TV series Rome, and Richelieu was Col. Landa from Inglourious Basterds! Mads Mikkelsen played the bad guy as only he can. Great cast...
This new imaginative telling of the old tale included some things that would definitely not expect -- wired laser like security, Indiana-Jones style, and armed air ships!
Did I mention that D'Artagnan was played by Percy Jackson!? Took me a while, but John placed him right away.
And Orlando Bloom was quite a dandy as the Duke of Buckingham! (hiss! boo!)
It was a good use of two hours -- entertaining!

The holiday season begins!
Where has the time gone?
Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I've tried to start some crafting again and made this fall wreath for our front gate yesterday. Actually, it took three days....wrapping that yarn around the base was time consuming and made my arm ache!! Not fun. But I'm happy with the look. I was copying one Colleen had made recently for her front door, and I did put three felt flowers on there, but added some 60 year old woman stuff...she will tease me about the leaves and silk sunflowers...but oh well, I thought it needed a bit more for such a big wreath.
Today I'm working on weather covers for our outdoor TVs....not as much fun, I can tell you!

Halloween with Olivia the Pig!
Colleen and Jeff invited us to come and enjoy KT's Halloween night, so we arrived at about 6pm for pizza and salad, then KT got ready in her Olivia the Pig costume. Her mom got everything for the outfit, and I sewed her little jumper. I think she made the perfect little Olivia, all the way up to her pig-tails!
We passed out candy at their front door while KT walked the block with her parents. I wonder what she was thinking? She came back with a full basket, though, so all treats, no tricks! ha!
They ran out of candy fairly early - there was a fairly constant stream of little Spider men, fairies, Scream masks, some kind of Horror High characters (?), and an absolutely darling little strawberry who looked about KT's age. *love*
We had a great time.
KT is a pure joy, full of energy, such fun, and I look forward to watching her grow.
