The early years...

Myself and my brother, Mike.  The back of the photo says "Mike at 31 months, Patricia at 16 months" and the date is March 8, 1952.  Mike's hanging on to some eerie-scary circus monkey there... shudder!!!  I think that's the last time I every put on puffed-sleeves.

Miss Rebecca Jo Vahalik

Lovely young woman.  Probably around 20 years old, but I'm not sure because they never marked any of these pictures.  It was taken in San Antonio at Stauffer Photo Service, so she must have been in her nursing program here.  Love you, Mom!

Here we are, most likely on our way to church.  Is that a bolero tie Danny had on? Pat, what were you thinking -- cat eye glasses and some old lady hat thing on your head?  Sheeesh!!!

Wedding Shower!!

Today we celebrated the upcoming wedding of our son, JR, and Ashley - our almost-daughter, by giving her a shower.  The theme was 1950s, and there were some really gorgeous outfits, poodle skirts, and some great hats and gorgeous hairdos.  Ashley was just beautiful!  I got to view a small sample of her bridal pictures and they are going to knock your socks off when you see them.  Wow...just wow!

Hello, Goldilocks!

Well, isn't she gorgeous?  Can you believe this little girl is a junior in college now?  Where has the time gone?  Remember when GlamorShots was all the rage? Why do I have so many questions?

Take a look at these youngsters!  This is from my brother's wedding day.  My dad, Kathy and Mike, and my mother.  I do believe that Mike had some mutton chops going there... whoa dude! The year would have been 1976, I do believe.

This is the Vahalik estate, for sure.  The back of the picture is stamped "35" so I'm guessing the year is 1935.  Mr. Vahalik was doing okay, I'm guessing, since he was able to have a car!  Those always remind me of Bonnie & Clyde, how about you? 

This is (left to right) my Aunt Bell, Aunt Leona, unknown male, my Uncle John, Uncle Edward, Aunt Irene, my mother, Rebecca, and another unknown male.  Does anyone know who those men are? Let me know!

KT turns one month!!

On Friday, KT turned one month old.  Amazing how she's changed in only one month.  She's a real living doll.  Can't wait for Jeff and Colleen to show her off at Easter time when everyone is around!
